She was a tradesmans daughter, raised in a wealthy house in the netherlands, spoiled like a princess. Her father lost is fortune when she was 8 years. But he and she never lost theis lust for luxury. After she left school (w/o any diplomas) she started answering marriage ads. She married very fast and young. John McLeod her hushband was 20 years older. They spend their honeymoon in Wiesbaden / Germany and then moved to Indonesia, Java, Sumatra. 30. January 1896, she gave birth to her son Norman John, on 2. May 1898 her daughter Luisa Johanna, named Non, was born. On June, 28. 1899 her son Norman dies. A servant was blamed to have poisoned Norman and Baby Non. After the death of Norman the marriage broke and Greeta moved back to the netherlands and divorced from John McLeod.

Greeta had no job, no beauty, no connections and no money. So she "invented" the romantic story about herself as the daughter of a temple dancer from Indonesia herself, went to Paris and shows her "barefoot indonesian temple dances". Noone found out at first that her dances were pure fantasy. As she was not a beauty, she stripped - but always left her bra on. A scandal for europe, but her ticket to staredom.

She died a traitors death, blamed for espionage for germany (in her confessions she changes from France to UK to England...). Nothing was true, she was to naive for espionage and Frances needed a vitime, a celebrity vistime, a scapegoat.

From 12 bullets 11 found their target - 1 hit her knee. She was also shot in the head - the obligatory "last shot".

She took money from Germany and France, but she didn't even know how to be a spy. She died innocent.
